About IOT SOLUTIONS

Practical IT, AI, Cybersecurity and Training Expertise

IOT SOLUTIONS helps organisations connect infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI, IoT and professional training into practical next steps. We focus on solutions that are useful, understandable and realistic for the people who need to operate them.

Our story

Practical technology guidance for real operational needs.

IOT SOLUTIONS was built around a simple belief: technology should make work clearer, safer and more productive—not more confusing.

We support organisations through IT consulting, system integration, cybersecurity awareness, AI adoption, IoT solution thinking and professional capability development. Our work is especially focused on helping teams understand what to do next, what risks to consider and how to turn ideas into practical action.

Whether the requirement is a network improvement, a cybersecurity discussion, an AI productivity programme, an IoT innovation seminar or a structured digital learning tool, our approach stays the same: understand the problem first, then recommend a proportionate solution.

Chew KL

Founder, IOT SOLUTIONS · HRDC Accredited Trainer · Infrastructure Architect · AI, GenAI and IoT Trainer

Chew KL is an IT educator, corporate trainer and consultant with nearly three decades of hands-on experience across enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, system integration, IoT, artificial intelligence and Generative AI adoption.

His background combines enterprise technology delivery with practical training facilitation. He has supported infrastructure operations, system modernisation, secure technology adoption, disaster recovery planning, stakeholder coordination and digital workflow improvement across different organisational environments.

In recent corporate training engagements in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, he has focused strongly on GenAI and AI productivity, helping business users apply tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and NotebookLM for writing, summarisation, reporting, research support, data analysis and workflow improvement.

He also brings IoT teaching and facilitation experience, including a semester-based IoT Fundamentals module and an IoT for Campus / Organisation Innovation programme completed on 6 July 2026. His strength is translating technical subjects into simple, practical and relevant learning for both technical and non-technical participants.

How we work

What we are known for

Practical technology explanation

We explain infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI and IoT in plain language so decision-makers and users can understand the value, limitations and risks.

Business-first solution thinking

We start with the problem, users, workflow and expected outcome before recommending tools, platforms or hardware.

Training that connects to real work

Our programmes use guided exercises, scenarios, demonstrations, quizzes and discussions to help participants apply the learning immediately.

Responsible digital adoption

We emphasise secure configuration, data confidentiality, human review, vendor awareness and practical governance when adopting new technologies.

Training and facilitation

Clear, practical and suitable for mixed audiences.

Many organisations do not need more jargon. They need a clearer way to understand the technology, discuss the risk and decide what action to take.

Our training style is practical and guided. We use real business examples, scenario labs, live discussion, short quizzes, demonstrations and structured templates to help participants move from concept to application.

This approach works especially well for teams with mixed backgrounds—including business users, managers, HR and learning teams, IT staff, researchers, students and non-technical participants exploring AI, IoT or cybersecurity for the first time.

“Start with the problem. Understand the user. Identify the right data. Then choose the technology.”
